Tiago studied dentistry at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in the University of Porto (FMDUP), Portugal, having received a scholarship for the highest marks in the 2007/2008 school year. After graduating, in 2011, Tiago maintained a cooperation with FMDUP for 3 years, assisting in teaching, among others, in the discipline of endodontics.
In 2015, he completed a postgraduate course in Oral Implantology at CESPU (Portugal) and in 2020 a Medical Affairs course, from Wise Healthcare Solutions.
Since graduating, Tiago has worked as a general dental practitioner in private dental practices in Portugal, but between 2015 to 2020, his work was more focused in fixed prosthodontics, over natural dentition and dental implants. He attended multiple courses in diverse areas of Dentistry, but mostly in fixed prosthodontics, oral medicine and surgery.
In 2022, Tiago moved to the UK and has been working as a general dental practitioner in Dumfries & Galloway.
